I can respond to texts by summarizing main ideas and provide supporting evidence from the text. 

This week, students were asked to create a Novel Summary Poster based on the novel they are reading in their guided reading groups. They were asked to focus on identifying the main events in their novel so far. They did an amazing job picking out the important parts of their novels and illustrating them.
